Sample That! w/ Timiss

The world’s warmest stage is back! This year, Bar Chaud is brought to you by Timiss and BX’elles. Timiss is a grassroots organisation working with and for the street community, setting up events and creating accessible (cultural) spaces. 

On Tuesday, Timiss will put sampling in the spotlight. Sampling is the art of re-using a part (i.e. a sample) of a sound recording in another recording. This process is a cornerstone of hip-hop culture. Coming up:
