Death Grips meets hip-hop x R&B x electronica x punk
Musician and producer Youniss (BE) enjoys combining diverse genres. His art creeps into the uneasiness of existence, especially as a black man with an Arabic name in the West. With the aid of a drummer, his setup and energy is reminiscent of Death Grips. The influences of hip-hop, R&B, electronica and techno are unmistakable. Just this spring, he impressed at AB for The Sound of the Belgian Underground. Focus Knack commented: "An intense show with a considerable punk factor". Oh: and he’s a fan of Lord Spikeheart.
